UAE Campaign Seeks Economic Backing for President Sheikh Mohamed’s Business Initiatives

Date:

The United Arab Emirates has embarked on a significant campaign encouraging its citizens and residents to declare their allegiance and support for President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This initiative aims to honor his role in enhancing the nation’s security, stability, and international reputation.

Unveiled by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the “Pledge and Commitment” campaign was announced at a substantial gathering held at the Abu Dhabi Energy Centre. The event drew over 4,800 participants, including citizens, residents, students, investors, academics, and business leaders, all united to celebrate the President’s contributions to the country’s progress.

The initiative is structured around four essential pillars: fostering unity and coexistence, drawing inspiration from core leadership values, bolstering civic responsibility and national identity, and expressing gratitude for the UAE’s prosperity and stability. To reach a broader audience, the campaign has expanded online, offering a dedicated website and QR code to enable digital participation from people across the country. Organizers have also forged partnerships with businesses, universities, and community groups to further the campaign’s reach through multilingual online engagement and public events.

This movement comes on the heels of a period marked by regional security challenges earlier this year, which have galvanized national unity. In response, public demonstrations of patriotism have flourished, with UAE flags prominently displayed at homes, offices, and public spaces. This trend aligns with calls from Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to celebrate the nation’s resilience and unity.

Those who participate in the pledge online receive a digital certificate of appreciation, underscoring their commitment and support for President Sheikh Mohamed. The pledge itself portrays him as a leader dedicated to safeguarding the nation’s security, advancing its development, and exemplifying commitment and service to the UAE.
