The UAE experienced its coolest morning of the season on Saturday, with temperatures dropping to 26.6°C at 3 a.m. on Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah. The cooler conditions came alongside unsettled weather across several regions.
Rainfall was reported on Friday in areas such as Wadi Al Ajeeli, Wadi Tawi, Masafi Road, Mazira Masfout, and the Al Madam–Al Shuwaib road. Forecasters explained that the weather changes are linked to a shallow surface depression from the east, combined with a weak upper-air trough.
The weekend is expected to bring partly cloudy skies, with convective clouds forming over the eastern and southern regions, likely resulting in more showers. Nights and early mornings will remain humid, increasing the chance of fog or light mist in both coastal and inland areas.
Wind speeds are forecast to range from 10 to 25 km/h, occasionally reaching 40 km/h. The Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman are predicted to be slight to moderate, at times choppy with passing clouds. Looking ahead, conditions through midweek will include partly cloudy skies, scattered showers in eastern and southern areas, and a slight dip in coastal temperatures, with convective activity possibly bringing additional rainfall.
