SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and LiCAP Technologies, Inc. have formally initiated a strategic collaboration to accelerate innovation in electric vehicle battery production. This partnership will focus on utilizing LiCAP’s proprietary dry electrode technology, a process that removes volatile organic compounds and other hazardous materials from traditional battery manufacturing. This initiative supports Nissan’s long-term sustainability framework by improving manufacturing efficiency, minimizing environmental impact, and establishing new standards for advanced energy storage systems.
