The United Arab Emirates continues to play a pivotal role in providing humanitarian aid to Gaza, delivering more than half of all international relief supplies. Through its large-scale initiative, Operation Gallant Knight 3, the UAE has sent over 60,000 tonnes of essential aid, including food, medical supplies, and shelter materials.
Hamoud Saeed Al Afari, Relief Operations Coordinator for Operation Gallant Knight 3, reaffirmed the UAE’s unwavering commitment to supporting those affected in Gaza. He emphasized the scale of the country’s contributions, highlighting that the UAE has accounted for over 50% of global humanitarian assistance to the region.
As part of the ongoing mission, aircraft carrying 32 tonnes of food supplies have been deployed from Ras Al Khaimah Airport to El Arish International Airport, ensuring that aid reaches those who need it most, particularly during the sacred month of Ramadan. The initiative underscores the UAE’s dedication to humanitarian causes, reinforcing its position as a global leader in relief efforts.
