Saudi Arabia Confirms Start of Ramadan on Saturday, March 1

The Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia has officially declared that the holy month of Ramadan will begin on Saturday, March 1, 2025, marking the commencement of fasting and spiritual observance for Muslims worldwide.

The announcement follows the confirmed sighting of the Ramadan crescent moon at the Sudair and Tumair observatories. With this verification, Saturday will be observed as the first day of Ramadan in the Islamic year 1446 AH.

As the sacred month begins, millions across the globe will engage in fasting, prayer, and reflection, embracing the spiritual significance of Ramadan.
