This strategic dialogue aimed to bolster diplomatic initiatives aimed at defusing the situation and enhancing cooperation among the involved nations.
The phone meeting included a number of prominent figures from the Middle East and beyond, such as Bahrain’s King Hamad, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim, Jordan’s King Abdullah II, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Qatar’s Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman, and Pakistan Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir. The discussions were centered on collaborative efforts to manage the persistent instability in the area.
Amid these diplomatic efforts, there have been signs of progress in negotiations between the United States and Iran. Officials have indicated that they are nearing a potential agreement, which could mark a significant step in resolving the conflict that has been a source of concern for many in the region.
Since the conflict began on February 28, the UAE and other Gulf nations have been subjected to a series of missile and drone attacks attributed to Iran.
